During the TCDT, the STS-127 Mission crew carried out emergency drills at the launch pad and checked out the payloads — the Kibo’s Exposed Facility (EF) and Experiment Logistics Module-Exposed Section (ELM-ES), installed in the shuttle’s payload bay. On the final day of the TCDT, the STS-127 Mission crewmembers went aboard Endeavour and ran through the launch countdown procedures. The STS-127 Mission crew and ground team simulated a sequence of the countdown procedures as if they have been experiencing the actual prelaunch activities.
