ArianeGroup's New Sticky Website

ArianeGroup springs from the shared ambition of Airbus and Safran to take the European space industry to the highest possible level.

Although Airbus Safran Launchers, the joint-venture set up by the Airbus and Safran groups to reorganize the European launchers sector, won't become ArianeGroup until July 1, the launch of a new website for ArianeGroup has appropriately taken place on the opening day of the Paris Air Show.  The site supports this change in official corporate name, and celebrates the presence of ArianeGroup at the Paris Air Show under its new colors.

The ultimate goal of every site is to encourage their viewers to remain there for a long duration of time, hence the term sticky website. Here the new ArianeGroup site features a large amount of content pertaining to Ariane 5 and Ariane 6, a history of Ariane launchers from the their inception, and the latest ArianeGroup news. Additionally, most of the products, equipment and services of ArianeGroup and its subsidiaries can be referenced online.

The site provides a fully immersive user experience, with parallax scrolling, mobile and tablet versions, a user-friendly interface and optimized information access. The new ArianeGroup website provides its visitors with intuitive browsing as a result of the latest technologies.  The site’s wide-ranging content will be enhanced continuously over the coming months.

Equally owned by the two groups, ArianeGroup houses the entire scope of their civil and military launcher activities and competences in a single company, with a workforce of over 9,000 people in France and Germany. The network includes 11 subsidiaries and affiliates in which ArianeGroup has a significant shareholding. Finalized in 2016, ArianeGroup’s roots have developed for more than 70 years into the history of space activity in Europe.
