GATR Technologies which offers deployable satcom solutions with deployable inflatable SatCom antennas and systems that provide for quick deployment and high-bandwidth communications in remote, hard-to-reach areas.
GATR Technologies will be attending AFCEA West (January 24-26 in TIDES booth #602 in San Diego) and also Marine West (February 1-2 in Booth #137 at Camp Pendleton). The 2.4 meter Inflatable Antenna System on display at both events.
GATR’s Antenna System is proven to enable high bandwidth communications as a stand-alone terminal in remote areas, provide rapid-deploy contingency solutions, boost the dish size of smaller terminals, and replace (or provide back-up) to large dish terminals.
The GATR offers portability and supplies the same communication capability as heavier (less portable) 2.4m rigid dish systems, but can pack into two airline-checkable cases. The GATR is lighter and has a smaller packed form-factor than any portable, rigid, large aperture system. In addition, the GATR is quick and easy to set up (two people, no special tools, on satellite in about 30 minutes).
GATR Technologies is currently used by Special Operations, Intelligence, and Homeland Security organizations, their GSA Contract #GS-35F-01856W.
