ORBCOMM Solutions Sell in Saudi Arabia via New Partnership with machinestalk


Working together to successfully achieve a common goal finds the enterprises of ORBCOMM Inc. (Nasdaq: ORBC), provider of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, and machinestalk, an IoT solutions provider based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, having signed a strategic distribution agreement. They will provide ORBCOMM’s global satellite, cellular and dual-mode network connectivity; hardware; web reporting applications; and software in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The arrangement combines ORBCOMM’s broad portfolio of IoT products and services with machinestalk’s IoT and telematics platform technologies to provide a wide variety of asset tracking, monitoring and control solutions. ORBCOMM and machinestalk will target core vertical markets including transportation and distribution, heavy equipment, industrial fixed assets, oil and gas, maritime, mining, and government. Through this combined solution offering, ORBCOMM and machinestalk will enable customers to increase visibility and security over their fixed and mobile assets and gain operational efficiencies to streamline their business and improve logistics management.

Marc Eisenberg, ORBCOMM’s Chief Executive Officer shared that he is pleased to expand their long-time relationship with machinestalk through this distribution agreement, which allows them to offer ORBCOMM’s complete IoT solution portfolio within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC region. They believe there is no other IoT company in their markets that has ORBCOMM’s broad set of solutions, and they look forward to working with machinestalk to expand their reach in this emerging geographic region.
