Since 1995, WTA (World Teleport Association) has presented annual awards to companies and individuals who have dramatically demonstrated excellence in the field of teleport operations, development and technology. Winners receive a presentation photograph, and Award, and assistance with promotion of their achievement. The Teleport Awards for Excellence are presented during the annual SATELLITE conference in Washington DC during a luncheon ceremony to which WTA members are invited and SATELLITE attendees may attend by paying a small registration fee.

Categories for Nomination:

• Independent Teleport Operator of the Year
• Teleport Technology of the Year
• WTA will also present an award for Teleport Executive of the Year, to be selected by an awards committee of the association.

Nominations for the 2014 Teleport Awards must be submitted to WTA by January 31, 2014. The 2014 Teleport Awards will be presented on March 11 at a luncheon ceremony for invited guests at the SATELLITE 2014 conference.

Registration is now openfor the Teleport Awards Luncheon. The annual luncheon, hosted by SES, will be on Tuesday, March 11 during the SATELLITE conference in Washington, D.C. The event is free for WTA Members, and $50.00 for non-members.
