From TASS, the Russian News Agency, comes the report that the Russian Aerospace Force intends to conduct three additional launches of carrier rockets during 2016, according to Anatoly Gulyayev, the country's Armed Forces Armament Chief.
In March and June of this year, the Bars-M and Geo-IK military satellites were delivered into their designated orbits for Russia's Defense Ministry, Anatoly said, via the Soyuz 2.1 and Rokot carrier rockets. He added that in regard to supplies for the nation's Space Troops, they have received a Soyuz 2-1b three stage, medium class rocket and eight, mobile, three-coordinate medium and long range radars, as well.
