Hughes' Tactical Plan Shows 'Em Tactical SatCom Solutions


[SatNews] While defense budgets are severley reduced the need for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance ever increases.

Hughes Network Systems, LLC (Hughes) today announced that it will showcase some of its latest commercial satellite communications solutions at this year’s Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEi) exhibition, which will be held at ExCel London from September 13-16 . Hughes will be at stand number N5-442 presenting Beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) systems and communications-on-the-move (COTM) solutions for worldwide deployment and supporting the requirements of land mobile, maritime, and airborne high-bandwidth, net-centric communications. DSEi is the industry’s largest fully-integrated exhibition and seminar event. It attracts nearly 1,300 exhibitors and over 25,000 attendees from 100 countries, including many top- level national defense and security delegations. It provides a unique opportunity to network with the complete industry supply chain and gain valuable insights into the future of the defense industry.
