Originally planned for a May 6 launch the U.S. Air Force planned to launch a Minotaur 1 rocket with a new satellite from the NASA Wallops Flight Facility, however a heavy cloud cover has scrapped those plans. The launch has been postponed due to bad weather at Wallops with no word on when the next attempt will be made according to Maryland Sun reporter and meteorologist, Frank Roylance.
