[SatNews] You can meet the GVF team at booth 1R6-01 at CommunicAsia (June 2-5 at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore) to learn about the latest developments, including:
- The new Satellite Operations Center and Teleport Technician Certification. Satellite operations center and teleport technicians facilitate uplinks from a wide variety of remote terminals, as well as from their own facilities. They may support carrier lineups, cross-pol alignments, and help field technicians troubleshoot links. GVF now offers a certification path tailored to the knowledge and skills that are important for performing these tasks efficiently and with minimum interference.
- The Enhanced Training Services (ETS) program, which enables you to integrate the GVF training curriculum into your own organization's branded portal, together with the Accredited Organization for Training program. AO/T status shows that your entire organization is committed to SATCOM excellence.
- Demonstrations of the full range of GVF training and certifications, for VSAT field technicians, marine antenna operators and field engineers, and certifications for mobile, SNG, broadcast, and other uplinkers.
You are also invited to attend the first annual CommunicAsia Satellite User Summit, which will be opened by a leaders’ roundtable of key regional and global satellite communications user groups active in the Asia-Pacific, chaired by GVF. The session begins at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, on Level 3, Hibiscus 3704.
The GVF is the association of the satellite communications industry. GVF offers a global satellite communications training and certification program and maintains an online Certification Database. Learn about certifications, view course outlines, check the on-site class schedule, and register for courses instantly at the GVF Training Portal. You are welcome to take the interactive, animated guided tour.
