[SatNews] In early September, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), along with co-hosts EM Solutions and AIAA Japan Forum on Satellite Communications, will welcome delegates from around the world to the 33rd AIAA International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC).

The Conference will be held September 7th through 10th at QT Hotel Surfers Paradise on Australia's Gold Coast and will feature a colloquium, followed by a program of more than 70 presenters, tutorials and networking opportunities with international industry leaders.

The 2015 ICSSC is a highly technical conference on satellite systems and the event’s theme is High Throughput Satellites, Other Performance Advances and Applications – Keeping Satellites Essential in a Broadband World—to emphasize that, even though fiber networks tend to dominate discussion of broadband telecommunications, this is a wireless world and satellites remain the only platform to offer communications anywhere, and at anytime.
