GPS IIR-20 Launch Back On Track


GPS IIR-20 (M) patch With a window from 4:34 to 4:49 a.m., March 24th appears to be an auspicious day for the luanch of the Delta II and the GPS IIR-20 payload.

Yep, there was some earlier rain, but during the day, clearing is expected, with an 80 percent chance of acceptable weather by launch time. There are currently no known issues to prevent the launch. The launch broadcast will start at 4:14 a.m. EDT. The satellite launch may be viewed as follows: Intelsat, Galaxy 3C, Transponder 21, orbital position at 95 degrees, band C, bandwidth 36 MHz and the downlink frequency being 4120 MHz (horizontal).
