Successful Development Of Strategic Partners For Teleport Operators Report Released By WTA

The World Teleport Association (WTA) has now released The Effective Strategic Partnership for Teleport Operators, a new research report.

The Effective Strategic Partnership for Teleport Operators explores the factors that produce or prevent success in developing strategic partnerships in a more networked world.  The report explores issues of strategy and objectives, management focus, alignment of staffing and incentives with the partnership strategy, and best practices in qualifying potential partners, reaching agreement and monitoring and managing the partnership over time.

In January, we published a report titled The Teleport of Tomorrow,” said Executive Director, Robert Bell.  “In it, teleport operators told us that strategic partnerships would become their primary channel to market in a more networked world.  But anyone who has tried to do it knows how challenging it is to develop an effective partnership, and many partnerships that are proudly announced to the press fail to deliver on their potential.  This report offers teleport operators, satellite operators and technology providers essential guidance in getting it right."

WTA members can access the report by signing in to their accounts on the WTA website and non-members can purchase the report at www.worldteleport.org
