X2nSat + Axesat = Passionate Partnership Of Satellite Communications w/Reach All The Way Through South America

[Satnews] Global satellite communications solutions provider X2nSat announces today a formal partnership agreement with Axesat, a satellite service provider based in Colombia providing services in South America.

“We’re passionate about building an impenetrable infrastructure for the next generation of satellite communications, and this strategic alliance will extend our reach all the way through South America,” said Garrett C. Hill, CEO of X2nSat.

“We chose to partner with Axesat because it’s one of the fastest-growing service providers in the world, and by leveraging one another's people, resources, and infrastructure, we can provide coverage to all of our clients from the Arctic to the Antarctic. That means if you’re a company in the U.S. or Canada with operations in South America, for example, we are now more empowered to provide you with seamless coverage throughout the Americas.”

The combined partnership brings together resources of five major satellite gateways, eight prime business offices, permanent in-house resources in 10 countries, 291 employees, and operating on a total of 10 satellites. In addition to typical broadband applications, Axesat will have access to new M2M and business continuity products already available in the United States. With the growth of the energy sector, environmental monitoring, security, and lottery systems in South America, these solutions will allow customers an unprecedented low cost service option.

X2nSat, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2016, provides highly reliable wireless network and communications solutions to a wide variety of industries with its high capacity satellite gateway and 24x7x365 Network Operations Center located in California, with redundant sites and data centers spread throughout the United States. Axesat, serving corporate clients in Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, and Central America, is based in Colombia, with operations centers in Bogota and Mexico City.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with such an innovative and growing company,” said Axesat CEO Mauricio Segovia. “X2nSat has impressed us with its track record of achievement and ability to  anticipate the future. We look forward to offering extended coverage and services to our clients through this new partnership."
