Suppliers + Primes, Good Business Sense

The California Space Authority (CSA) is going to host a Supplier Transformation Forum at Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach on October 7, 2008. In learning how to better partner with Prime companies, aerospace suppliers in California will be better positioned to compete in a global marketplace. As part of the U.S. Department of Labor’s “Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development” (WIRED) program, CSA has been spearheading a Smart Supplier Initiative that has identified common requirements, increased life cycle capabilities, workforce development goals, and effective flow-downs in the supply chain as key issues for international success. The Supplier Transformation Forum will include participation from prime companies such as Northrop Grumman, The Boeing Company, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, agencies including the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and The Aerospace Corporation. In addition to networking opportunities with the Prime supply chain professionals and engineering, quality and manufacturing managers, suppliers will be provided with updated information on requirements, initiatives, competitive realities, successful transformations, and resources. Registration closes on Wednesday, September 24th — sign up now by selecting the graphic below. CSA would like to acknowledge Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and Southern California Edison as sponsors of the Supplier Transformation Forum.
