Global Technology Solutions — Just Six Months Out — Financial Success

GTS Great way to end a year — Global Technology Solutions (GTS), the Hollywood, Florida-based technology solution provider, will close out 2009, and the company’s first six months in business, tracking a $32 million fiscal year and over $125 million of business in the pipeline, eight offices in North and South America, and a new acquisition on the horizon early in 2010.

“To say that we’ve exceeded our own expectations is a severe understatement,” said Richard Schubiger, CEO of GTS.  “At a time when many new businesses – especially technology companies are struggling, GTS is growing faster than anticipated.”

A key component of GTS’ focus is Latin America.  Among current projects, GTS and their select business partners will service the Panama Canal Authority, the Panamanian National Police, and the Panamanian Government.  In addition, GTS has been retained by a major capital city in the region to formulate a Safe City Plan, which will make it the most cutting edge technology-based municipality in South America.

“Our experience and work history in Latin America sets GTS apart from other technology companies looking to expand beyond the US market,” said Chris Cavallo, president of GTS.  “Latin American government officials and enterprise leaders understand the way to grow their economies is by utilizing and leveraging new technologies.”

Among other major highlights of the past year, GTS has:
  • Engaged in high profile projects in the gaming, entertainment, public safety and government sectors, including Charlotte County, Florida; Cooper Health Systems; Credit Suisse; a major sporting complex in New Jersey; casino projects in New Jersey and Illinois in the US, and projects with the countries of Colombia, Ecuador and American Samoa.
  • Emerged as a finalist in the administration’s Broadband Technology Opportunities Program, which aims to deploy broadband technology in unserved and underserved areas.
  • Assembled a world-class executive management, sales, and engineering team focused on attracting and serving our clients in both North and South America.
  • Executed an international and strategic partnership with Motorola, which has been at the forefront of communications for nearly 80 years.
  • In part because of its early success, GTS and its key executives will be profiled in a Fox Business Report story scheduled to air in December.
