Historic Live Broadcast For The 67th International Astronautical Congress

The International Astronautical Federation's 67th International Astronautical Congress event will, for the first time in history, offer all of the Plenary events as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies via live broadcast... this event runs from September 26th through the 30th in Guadalajara, Mexico.

One of the main components of this year´s IAC is telecommunications and, as one of the great benefits of this technology, an unprecedented number of people will be able to have access to the state-of-the-art knowledge shared on this premier event. The IAC 2016, among other things, is known as “The Olympic Games of Space” due to the event's academic and industry-oriented sessions that bring together highly experienced subject matter experts and the opportunities for exceptional networking opportunities.

In the past century, the development of space issues was mostly concentrated in the countries with the strongest economies but, with the aid of current information and telecommunication technologies, today there's a democratization of knowledge. This is also expressed in the theme of the upcoming event by which Mexico, a country with a strong global responsibility, adds up to the international space community endeavor in "Making Space Accessible and Affordable to all Countries."
