The GVF MENASAT Summit @ CABSAT has been an embedded, key, added-value, feature of the annual CABSAT exhibition for many years, and 2015 continues the complementary relationship between exhibition and summit program. The dedicated Satellite Hub Summit, as part of the CABSAT conference 2015, brings an event with a brand new format, and new and innovative content, as the GVF Satellite Hub Summit @ CABSAT 2015. Entry to the Satellite Hub Summit is complimentary and requires only a CABSAT Exhibitor or CABSAT Visitor badge.

The event will take place physically within the satellite area of the CABSAT exhibition, using a dedicated, purpose built, centrally located and high-profile meetings facility, called ‘The Satellite Hub’ in Hall 8. Martin Jarrold, Chief of International Program Development with GVF, and Hub Summit Chairman, said, “Not only will this bring the GVF Satellite Hub Summit directly into the exhibition space and closer to CABSAT’s thousands of visitors, but offers a higher level of visibility for participating organisations’ support for the event program, and for the vitally important dialogues and opportunities for networking that the program facilitates and promotes. The topics and themes to be covered during the Hub Summit will be addressed by a prestigious line-up of speakers, including those who depend on the satellite industry for their ability to deliver their own services. This year the Hub Summit will provide an update on issues related to satellite interference which remains an important issue in the MENA region.”

The GVF Satellite Hub Summit will feature speakers from (in order of first appearance in the program) Arab Advisors Group, APT Satellite, Kt Sat, Access Partnership, Avanti Communications, Inmarsat, Intelsat, Thuraya, ASIX Asia Satellite Internet Exchange, SES, Satellite Markets & Research, Trio-EMC, Advantech Wireless, Comtech EF Data, Eutelsat, Globecomm Systems, iDirect, Newtec, Telenor Satellite Broadcasting, SIS Live, C-COM Satellite Systems, Sky-Stream, Integrasys, sIRG, ArabSat, Space Data Association, International Telecommunication Union, Arab States Broadcasting Union, Al Jazeera, BBC World News, ND SatCom, as well as speakers from GVF Training.
