Space Data Association Welcomes Newest Member.... Dedicated To Responsible Sharing Of Space...

[SatNews] Telenor Satellite Broadcasting (TSBc), has become the latest member to join the Space Data Association (SDA). SDA is an international non-profit association of satellite operators that supports the controlled, reliable and efficient sharing of space environment and RF spectrum data. Its membership comprises many of the world’s major satellite communications companies.

“The SDA plays an important role, ensuring effective sharing of data and providing technical support to its members,” commented Peter Olsen, Director Space Division, Telenor Satellite Broadcasting. “We look forward to participating in our role in the SDA’s vital work.”

“We are pleased to welcome Telenor Satellite Broadcasting as the latest member of the SDA,” commented Mark Rawlins, Chairman, Space Data Association. “We established the SDA in 2009 as we saw a need to coordinate activity and safeguard space-based infrastructure. The more we can engage with those operating in the space environment, the more effective we can be.”

The SDA will be holding a User Meeting in the week of the Satellite show, on 16th March at the Intelsat Headquarters in Washington. For more information or to register, please complete the form here http://www.space-data.org/sda/register-to-attend-washington-meeting-in-march-2015/
