Terran Orbital Home Of Small Satellites Takes A Big Step + Opens First Tyvak International Office In Turin, Italy

[SatNews] “We are pleased to respond to the increasing global demand for small satellite solutions attainable outside of restrictive U.S. ITAR regulations..."

Building on the success of its Tyvak U.S. brand, Terran Orbital is pleased to announce the opening of the first Tyvak International office in Turin, Italy.

Tyvak, creator of nano-satellites and turnkey nanosatellite solutions, selected Turin, Italy as its first non-U.S. presence because of Turin’s strong aerospace industry focus and its proximity to Politecnico di Torino (one of the largest engineering universities in Europe). Turin’s location also provides easy access to a multitude of high-technology companies in France, Germany and Switzerland.

The new Tyvak International office is located within I3P, the leading small business incubator in Italy, and one of the Top Five Incubators in Europe. Tyvak International will work closely with U.S. based Tyvak locations, but will operate independently and grow in response to European Union (EU) and European Space Agency (ESA) commercial needs, as well as requirements from other European-based small satellite programs.

“We are pleased to respond to the increasing global demand for small satellite solutions attainable outside of restrictive U.S. ITAR regulations through this new, European office,” said Tyvak International Managing Director Marco Villa. “In the past 10 years, the global satellite industry has more than doubled to a $195.2 billion dollar business. Our new European office is poised to meet this growing demand with turnkey, cost-effective solutions.”
