Skyware Global, a leading provider of SATCOM terminal solutions, is debuting its innovative new Cielo Ka-band product range at IBC 2011. The range – initially comprising two complete Outdoor Units (ODUs), the Cielo 69 and the Cielo 98 – is the latest in the company’s line of Ka-band products and technologies. The fully-integrated units bring together two existing antenna systems – the 69cm Ka-band antenna and the 98cm Ka-band antenna – with Skyware Global’s Cielo transceiver: the world’s first truly integrated Ka-band VSAT transceiver. The latest product from Skyware Global’s R&D department combines a field-adjustable waveguide polarizer and high-efficiency feed horn in a compact housing at affordable price points and optimum antenna integration. The transceiver will operate with any industry standard VSAT modem and provides excellent RF performance and very high reliability.
