Signalhorn Wins Services for Africa's Most Diversified Marine Vessel Fleets

An African company whose services are quite diversified has assigned Signalhorn's  communications services to assist with their operations in Nigeria and the West African region.

The tier 1 oil and gas offshore service company specializes in providing diving, vessel leasing, sub-sea and construction support for many of the international oil and gas companies in the region.

Signalhorn was awarded the communication service based on its Ku-Band, iDirect satellite services. Additionally Signalhorn’s strategic position within Nigeria as a major provider of hybrid networks with local in-country support played an important role in earning the trust of the customer. With the added benefit from Signalhorn’s state-of- the-art Customer Gateway (secure web-based access for customers to view/manage their own networks in real-time) and the 24 x 7 customer support provided by Signalhorn’s Network Operations Center.

“Signalhorn is pleased to be able to support this major West African offshore service company with Ku-Band based VSAT solutions for its vessel operations. For our Nigerian customers, and other African based customers, meeting local content requirements including the deployment of in-country support is a critical factor for the success of their operations,” said Gary Bray, Vice President Energy at Signalhorn. “Signalhorn’s ability to provide timely high-capacity, flexible bandwidth solutions that meet or exceed our customers’ growing bandwidth requirements, no matter where their operations are located, is a contributing factor to Signalhorn’s continued success,” he added.
