U.S. Army Calls In DataPath's Hardware Kits for STTs
DataPath, Inc., knows how to pack it up — it being spare electronics and other equipment used to operate and maintain hundreds of DataPath(R) Satellite Transportable Terminals (STTs). In fact DataPath, a provider of satellite and wireless communications networks worldwide, has been
awarded two delivery orders totaling
$4.8 million by the
U.S. Army for their
hardware kits. DataPath's STTs are the satellite communications (SATCOM) terminals deployed to deliver high-bandwidth communications capabilities at forward-operating locations as part of the
U.S. Army's Joint Network Node (JNN)/ Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) program. DataPath has
built and
delivered more than
800 STTs as well as provided
Unit Hub SATCOM Trucks (UHSTs), software and
extensive services for the JNN/WIN-T program since 2004.
Program Manager WIN-T's Commercial SATCOM Terminal Program (CSTP) at the
U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, made the award through the
CSTP Blanket Purchase Agreement contract.

"DataPath works closely with the U.S. Army to provide satellite terminals,
spares and upgrade kits, software and on-site field support services for its critical networks," said
Steve Lindeman,
vice president of Business Operations at DataPath. "With rapid production capabilities and experience deploying and servicing JNN/WIN-T and other key networks, our manufacturing and services teams
provide exceptional support to ensure these systems incorporate the latest technology and
operate reliably on the battlefield."
