More than 500 Nominations ... Washington Business Journal's Survey Awards iDirect Government Best Place to Work

iDirect Government (iDirectGov) has been named in the Washington Business Journal's (WBJ) 2019 Best Places to Work for the large company category. The honorees were announced on May 16 at a ceremony at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland.

The WBJ, which acknowledges the 100 Greater Washington companies for their workplace excellence based on survey responses from their respective employees, received more than 500 nominations this year.

This award builds upon iDirectGov’s recognition from the Mobile Satellite Users Association (MSUA) earlier this month with a win of the 2019 Annual Mobility Innovation Award (Top Cybersecurity Solution) for its enhanced transmission security (TRANSEC)-compliant network architecture.

John Ratigan, President of iDirect Government, said the company is pleased to be recognized as one of the best places to work in the D.C. area, and what is particularly satisfying is that the firm's employees made this happen. Celebrating 10 years as a company last year, this is a testament to the firm's talented and dedicated employees — people are integral to iDirect Government's success. Hiring the correct people who put customers first, maintaining a positive attitude and working hard to grow the company have all translated into the firm's success as a leading provider of satellite communications (SATCOM) products and service to defense and civilian government agencies. The customer-centric approach by the iDirect Government team has helped the firm to accomplish growth year after year, and has resulted in products that meet customers’ needs.
