Emerging Markets’ QuickSkid Solution + More To Be Featured @ OilComm

[SatNews] Global satellite (VSAT) communications solutions provider Emerging Markets Communications (EMC) will showcase its newest oil and gas (O&G) connectivity solutions at OilComm.

The company will feature new products and services in two booth locations—Booth 308 inside and Booth 6 outside the venue. EMC will feature a live demo of its newest QuickSkid Solution, which enables faster and more reliable connectivity offshore. The company is also the Premier Sponsor for OilComm's Golf Tournament which will be played at the Wildcat Golf Course on November 5, 2014.

Over 1,600 attendees and 120 exhibiting companies attend the event each year at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, to discuss challenges and trends, showcase solutions and network with top players and colleagues in the oil and gas industry.

EMC's newest offshore communications solution, QuickSkid, will be presented at the outside Booth 6. The fully managed service incorporates EMC's global Ku-band networks and teleports, a stabilized antenna and equipment in a box, field support and a 24x7 global operations center. EMC will test and ship inventory, equipment and spare parts to its field offices around the globe to quickly deploy services in the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, Offshore Angola, Spain, Singapore and Brazil.
