AMOS Conference In Maui OK'd By USAF For Attendance


[Satnews] The Maui Economic Development Board is pleased to share that the 17th annual Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies (AMOS) Conference—scheduled to take place September 20-23, 2016 at the Wailea Marriott in Maui, Hawaii—has been approved for US Air Force attendance and is now included in the US DoD list of Annually Recurring Conferences.
 
The AMOS Conference brings together operators, researchers, technologists and system developers who are working in the many areas of space domain awareness. The Conference consists of a technical program, policy forum sessions, featured speakers, optional technical tour, short courses, poster sessions and exhibits. More than 100 papers will be presented with opportunities for networking and technical discussions, all in an environment that stimulates the imagination and intellect of participants through its beautiful and unique Hawaiian hospitality.
 
The Conference announces the 2016 Call for Technical Papers—details may be found on the Speaker page at the Conference website—abstracts must be submitted no later than April 1, 2016
