GVF... @ Satellite 2012 With... (Event)


[SatNews] The GVF VSAT training team will be heavily involved in the Satellite 2012 conference in Washington, D.C.

From the engineering pre-day events concentrating on the maritime sector to the Hands On Skills Test (HOST) scheduled for the Friday after the trade show, the week will be chock full of opportunities  for you to be involved in the training program. Whether you are a new student enrolled in your first online course or a long-time HOST examiner, you will have an opportunity to learn more about the program, share your ideas with other students and examiners, and impact the training program in a positive manner at this week-long collection of events.

On Monday, March 12th, the Maritime Satcom Forum, occurs, presented by the GVF Maritime SatCom Forum. This program will cover several key aspects of this inter-industry dialogue. Commencing at 9:00 a.m., the program will include the discussion topics “Maritime SatCom: What Ship Managers Want,” “The Maritime SatCom Value Proposition,” “Shipping, Fishing and Everything in Between: Maritime SatCom Trends," “Maritime SatCom Forum Deliverables,” and “Maritime Apps: What’s on the Horizon”.

Be sure to attend the 3:15 p.m. session "The Maritime Satcom Forum Deliverables," featuring Ralph Brooker's presentation on GVF's new maritime VSAT training program.
