[SatNews] SENCORE has been recertified for compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
The certification was presented by Intertek, which conducted a thorough audit of SENCORE's quality management system to ensure its compliance with the guidelines specified by ISO 9001:2008. ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized standard for quality management that applies to all types of business sectors and activities. Annual audits are required for maintaining ISO 9001:2008 certification, which is based on eight quality management principles to help improve organizational performance including customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, fact-based decision-making, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships. "I'm very proud of SENCORE for passing the audit; in fact, the auditors commented that we are one of the top-performing companies among all the audits they conduct every year. The recertification is true evidence of our emphasis on continually improving quality processes to better serve our customers," said Tim Graham, director of quality, SENCORE. "The auditors stated that our quality systems are solid, well-documented, and show improvement from previous years — and that all of our employees know their jobs and are performing them with enthusiasm."
