FEMA Contingency SATCOM Services Project Awarded To UltiSat

UltiSat, Inc. has been awarded the "Contingency Satellite Services Project" by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)—this task order is part of the Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition-Custom Solutions 2-Small Business (FCSA-CS2SB) contract.

UltiSat will provide FEMA with satellite services to support Operational Communications requirements for Response and Recovery missions. This support will be provided through an always on network that will be utilized for training, testing, and operations responses. This network will also have the ability to surge and increase in size as necessary in terms of bandwidth, data rates, and geographic coverage.

UltiSat understands that emergency response connectivity demands are always changing, so networks need to be scalable and agile; therefore, extra care was taken to design a capability to meet FEMA's unique network needs, particularly with regard to quick response times.
