Global Teleports Provides Just What The Folks Need... Broadband Service Even At The Most Rural Events

Ah, the irony of attending a technology show and not having adequate broadband service at the event—there is now a solution.

Global Teleports is launching VipEvent, a new event broadband service, at the Welsh Business Show: Cardiff on 28th April.

VipEvent allows event organizers to offer satellite broadband coverage to customers during events. Those attending or participating at an event will be able to sign up to a choice of different packages to gain broadband access for a given length of time or the duration of the entire event.

Global Teleports is able to cover the entire UK geography with its satellite broadband service, meaning event organizers can deliver broadband, even for the most rural events. At the Welsh Business Show, Global Teleports will be presenting the technology and equipment that enables this new service.

“Event organizers are under increasing pressure to give customers broadband access,” commented Roger Boddy, CEO, Global Teleports. “This is particularly challenging in rural areas, where it is also more crucial, with often very little mobile coverage.”

Global Teleports will also be demonstrating how the smart management software works with Google maps to enable event organizers or other customers, to carefully plan wifi coverage for their required network.

Global Teleports will be exhibiting at stand #18 at the Welsh Business Show: Cardiff.
