Galaxy Broadband Says Encore to Bandits In Space


Encore Canada's Galaxy Broadband Communications Inc. has selected Encore's BANDIT line of industrially hardened routers for their satellite networks, systems and solutions throughout Canada enabling Galaxy customers to create end-to-end VPN's across both satellite and terrestrial networks.

Encore's patented Selective Layer Encryption (SLE) feature, U.S. Patent #7,360,083, is an encryption technology that securely connects satellite networks with terrestrial Internet links as part of an end-to-end VPN solution. Its EVDO capabilities can be utilized in either the primary or failover network port and the seamless cellular failover feature is ideally suited for Disaster Recovery applications.
