Becky B. Potts is the new president for Frontier Communication’s National Region

Potts most recently served as Frontier’s Chief Customer Officer, overseeing customer relations for residential and business contact centers, credit and collections, and alternate distribution channels.

"Becky’s wealth of knowledge in management and customer relations played a key role in the success of Frontier’s contact centers” said John Lass, Frontier’s Executive Vice President, Field Operations. “Her leadership skills will help us grow revenue, advance operations, and increase market share."

Lass noted that Potts’ experience in customer relations will help her as she continues to drive the National Region. In addition, he said, Potts has been a huge contributor to the transformation of the company’s contact centers and earlier led many of the states that comprise the National Region.

Before joining Frontier, Potts was president of one of the largest travel companies in the country. She also had a more than 10-year successful career as vice president/general manager of AT&T Wireless, and was responsible for $1 billion in annual sales and more than one million customers. She was integral in managing the transition and mergers between McCaw Communications and AT&T Wireless, and between AT&T Wireless and Cingular. She guided the AT&T Wireless sponsorship of the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Potts worked at Xerox Corporation for nearly 15 years, where she achieved numerous sales awards and recognitions and received the President’s Award for Outstanding Sales Achievement on a national level.

She has served on more than 20 boards, including the American Express Travel Board, United Way of Salt Lake, Wells Fargo Community Bank Board and the Board of Trustees at Westminster College.

Potts earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in journalism and speech communications from the University of Southern California. She currently lives in the Salt Lake City area.
