Avascent + Washington Space Business ...Munch A Lunch While Discussing C-Band Spectrum Allocations


[SatNews] Registration is open for the Washington Space Business Roundtable's January Luncheon. Avascent is accepting reservations for the Washington Space Business Roundtable's January Executive Luncheon, to be held This luncheon will feature a panel discussion of C-band spectrum allocation issues ahead of the upcoming WRC-2015 conference. 

A panel discussion addressing what satellite operators and users are doing to protect part of the C-band spectrum from being taken away for use by wireless networks. In 2007, at the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC), the satellite industry was successful in defending its spectrum, but the wireless industry is undertaking similar efforts in preparation for WRC-2015. The panelists will discuss the issues involved and how losing part of the C-band could impact satellite users.
