[SatNews] A seventh MILCOM satellite construction contract has been awarded to Boeing by the U.S. Air Force, according to the Pentagon's daily major defense contracts digest. Already, three of Boeing's Wideband Global SATCOM birds are in orbit. The company also has three such satellites in their production cycle. WGS satellites are part of a significantly improved broadband constellation providing services to the U.S. military as well as allied forces.
