digiGO! — NAB: Getting Those DVB-SH A + B Profiles Correct Is SIDSA

SIDSA logo SIDSA, a fabless company who specializes in digital TV receiver chipsets, will present a professional receiver, which is the first complete implementation of the DVB-SH standard that includes both A and B profiles with long and short interleavers, at NAB.

The receiver has been validated in cooperation with the company TeamCast, a provider of digital TV transmission equipment that has developed a complete DVB-SH modulator supporting all modes. The DVB-SH receiver from SIDSA and the transmitter from TeamCast has become a reference for satellite network operators and consumer electronics companies. SIDSA has also announced the launch a chipset with the complete DVB-SH standard during 2009. The multistandard chipset will deliver video streams at IP level through Ethernet, SDIO, and SPI interfaces. TeamCast is proud to acknowledge that the DVB-SH core technology presented at NAB 2009 is already in use in the pilot hybrid networks deployed in the USA by ICO Global Communications, and demo'd with great success at the CES 2009 show. All products and services of SIDSA can be seen at Booth C1548 — all products and services of TeamCast can be seen at Booth C2844.
