SpaceX... When Shove Comes To Push...

The delay in the GPS 2F-SV1 satellite launch by United Launch Alliance for the U.S.A.F. has required SpaceX to review, and push out, their initial test of the Falcon 9. This should occur sometime between May 26th and June 2nd, with the former date the target date for the Company.

Within NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services contract, SpaceX intends to initiate a trio of Dragon spacecraft flights through the auspices of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The Dragon is key to the Company's drive to ensure these demos prove the capability to deliver to, and return from, the International Space Station as the crucial cargo hauler. Testing and final safety data continues to be completed by Ensign Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company — they are handling final safety data and other critical spacecraft component work.
