Advantech Wireless participated in a VSAT Roundtable on May 25 that discussed the major challenges and opportunities of the satellite industry at the Asia Pacific Satellite Communication System International Conference (APSAT) which is taking place from May 25-26, 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
APSAT 2016 is the ASSI’s (Asosiasi Satelit Indonesia or the Indonesian Satellite Association) 15th consecutive annual international conference focused on satellite communications. This year’s program is built around innovation to adapt the dynamic market and the explosion of connected devices by 2020 such as IoT (Internet of Things), video streaming, and mobile internet connectivity. Looking at these trends, how can the satellite industry adapt itself to the requirements in the changed environment? The annual event has been acknowledged, recognized and endorsed by international telecommunication societies, professionals and government institutions.
