Supply Chain Comm — Impeva Supports AAFES

Impeva Labs graphic Impeva Labs, Inc. is providing support to the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) for selected high-value shipments bound for Iraq.

The solution is offered through logistics provider Agility and involves placing Impeva Labs' Global Sentinel devices on dry containers moving over challenging routes bound for Iraq. The Global Sentinel tag is a smart device that provides continuous cargo tracking and monitoring anywhere in the world and is designed to operate in the most difficult environments while providing real-time actionable information. Impeva Labs has a strong record of supporting operations within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). The most recent work with AAFES is further validation of the state-of-the-art Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) solutions developed by Impeva Lab and the value of employing a solution designed for continuous cargo tracking and monitoring. Impeva Labs can deliver a "smarter" solution with full global coverage, two-way secure communications, ultra-low data latency, and actionable event-driven information versus volumes of useless data. "Smarter" data reporting equates to lower life-cycle costs for AIT services.  The combination of these elements makes the solutions from Impeva Labs a perfect fit for the operations within the DoD. Currently, solutions from Impeva Labs are supporting several DoD operational supply chains in rigorous and demanding environments to include: Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Dubai, and Kuwait.
