Helix Technologies Names New CEO


Helix Technologies has appointed James Lewis as Chief Executive Officer to lead the company as the firm transitions to its production and commercialization phase.

Lewis said that with ambitious plans to deliver the world’s most compact and high performance GNSS antennas to the precision navigation sector in 2020, Helix Technologies is set to make an impact in today’s military, aerospace and specialist markets, and to enable next generation spatial awareness and information communication markets. There is demand for Helix products in autonomous vehicle and drone applications, where pinpoint accuracy and massive data-flow over wireless are essential. The company's breakthrough antenna technology is the key to unlocking the information processing capabilities being developed by the firm's partners and customers for these applications.

Trained as an electronics engineer, and with career-long experience in technology commercialization, Lewis has previously led technology businesses from start-up through to successful exits delivering strong returns to investors.

John Yates, the outgoing Managing Director and co-Founder who led the company through its research and development phase, is now appointed Chairman of Helix Technologies.
