Es'hailSat Targets AfricaCom 2019


Es’hailSat is exhibiting at the annual AfricaCom exhibition in Cape Town international convention center from November 12 to 14, this event being the major tech event in Africa that gathers senior decision-makers together from the entire digital ecosystem.

Es’hailSat will be showcasing the Es’hail-1 and Es’hail-2 satellites as well as a wide range of services to be delivered through the company's new, state-of-the-art teleport in Doha. These satellites are currently transmitting high quality, premium DTH television content from the 25.5 degrees/26 degrees E hotspot.

Es’hail-2, a high-performance satellite with sophisticated anti-jamming capabilities, is located at the 26 degrees East hotspot position for TV broadcasting and significantly adds to the company’s ability to provide high quality, premium DTH television content across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Es’hailSat’s new teleport in Doha provides customers with secure and independent satellite transmission. The facility supports satellite TT&C and capacity management together with a wide range of services such as uplink, downlink, multiplexing, encoding, playout and other value-added services. The high-tech teleport will also provide back-up studios for TV channels and will also serve as a disaster recovery facility for customers.
