Vizada and Inmarsat Renew Relationship

Vizada Not many people or companies can boast of a 30-year partnership, but such is so with Vizada and Inmarsat who announced that they have concluded final negotiations for Vizada’s distribution of Inmarsat services over the next five years. These include “existing and evolved services” (Fleet, GAN, Swift, etc.), new generation IP-based broadband services including BGAN, FleetBroadband and SwiftBroadband, as well as leased services.

In 2008 Vizada’s Inmarsat mobile satellite activities outperformed the market and represent now close to 40 percent of Inmarsat wholesale revenues. Vizada was also the number one provider for on-demand Inmarsat services, and held the leading position on revenues for Inmarsat growth products such as BGAN, Fleet/FleetBroadband and Swift/SwiftBroadband. The new agreement allows Vizada to build on this positive growth trend, supported by its network of service provider partners which have been a key driver of the MSS industry.

In addition with the Vizada SolutionsTM suite of value added services, the 24/7 global customer care and industry leading expertise Vizada continues to offer superior Inmarsat services meeting the needs of remote connectivity users worldwide.
