Curtiss-Wright Space COTS Capabilities Expanded Via Réaltra Licensing Agreement

Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division has a new licensing agreement with Réaltra, a division of Realtime Technologies Ltd.

The agreement enables Réaltra to complement existing activity undertaken by Curtiss-Wright’s Aerospace Instrumentation facility in Dublin, Ireland. Under the agreement, Réaltra can market, manufacture, and deliver the Curtiss-Wright Acra KAM-500 range of Space COTS radiation tolerant products into space applications and address customer development choices that are not sufficiently aligned with Curtiss-Wright’s product roadmap or available resources. Curtiss-Wright will continue to have first option on any identified opportunities and will continue to deliver space technology solutions to Curtiss-Wright customers. Danny Gleeson, a principal in Réaltra, will also continue to serve in his space market consultancy role for Curtiss-Wright.

The license agreement provides Curtiss-Wright with the opportunity to accelerate the growing use of its products in the space market by using Réaltra’s resources. Réaltra, a new division of Realtime Technologies Ltd., is focused on providing cost effective electronic systems solutions for the space market. Realtime Technologies is a world-class manufacturer of high-end electronics based in Dublin and has manufactured electronic systems for the Curtiss-Wright Aerospace Instrumentation Dublin facility for more than 10 years.
