NASA will hold a media teleconference at 1 p.m. EDT Wednesday, August 15, to discuss an extraordinary galaxy cluster that is smashing several important cosmic records.
The news comes with a big tease—information from NASA about a record-breaking galaxy—and then we won't know any more until next week!
Next Wednesday NASA will have assembled the following panelists:
- Michael McDonald, Hubble Fellow, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts
- Bradford Benson, astrophysicist, University of Chicago, Illinois
- Megan Donahue, professor of astronomy, Michigan State University, East Lansing
- Martin Rees, professor of cosmology and astrophysics, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom
The general public also can ask the panelists questions via Twitter using the hashtag #asknasa.
