Russian Proton Launch Vehicle Missions To Be Uplifting For Baiterek


In 2020, according to the Ivestia daily, the ownership of the launch facility for Proton rockets will be transferred to Baiterek, a Russian-Kazakhstan joint venture.

Baiterek is a joint venture company whose shareholders are Kazakh’s State Property and Privatization Committee and Russia’s Khrunichev Center. According to the report, Khrunichev Center chief Andrey Kalinovsky stated his agency's cooperation with colleagues from Kazakhstan is reaching a new level and all are already involving specialists who are working on the Baiterek project for the organization of future launches.
