[SatBroadcasting™] OmniGlobe Networks EMEA, a supplier of communications equipment and systems for satellite and terrestrial transmissions, and Sat-Comm Ltd. have announced the debut of the Ghazala, a ruggedized, portable Fast News Gathering (FNG) terminal that is pending full MENOS accreditation. The news of the Ghazala’s release follows OmniGlobe’s recent delivery of the first MENOS-certified Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) vehicles to the Arab States Broadcasting Union. The Ghazala, which has already generated a high level of interest amongst the industry, is primarily intended for FNG operations within the ASBU-MENOS network, but will also find applications in other IP and traditional satellite networks.
