ONE CONNXT In Action... Announces New Technical Engineering Head + Readies For NAB


[SatNews] ONE CONNXT, provider in broadcast video transport, announced the appointment of Chris Lavin as Technical Engineering Head.

Prior to ONE CONNXT, Lavin was Chief Technical Officer at Olympusat, one of the largest independent media companies in the U.S. where he designed, implemented and integrated playout and delivery systems for over 300 OTT (Over the Top) and traditional linear channels to satellite, cable and terrestrial broadcast distributors.  Lavin also held posts at Verris, Inc., a leading systems integrator and solutions provider serving broadcasters and government clients.  

Early in his career Lavin launched a chain of computer retail stores and founded JustOnline.com, a premiere online software company, and The Solutions People, one of the largest technology staffing firms in Florida. His top tier client list includes, ‘NYSNC, Backstreet Boys, Bank of Boston, Deutche Bank, Southeastern Conference, a Division One college basketball conference, the Florida Panthers and Discovery Channel Latin America. Chris’ philanthropic efforts include being an avid supporter of Make-A-Wish® America.
