Vizada is offering new and upcoming capabilities for The Source®, the company’s web-based information management system designed exclusively for Vizada service providers.
The rollout is part of Vizada’s commitment to help service providers grow and exceed their business objectives through their partnership with Vizada at a time when increased speed to market and reducing costs are critical.
Newly available features in The Source include the ability to activate several of Vizada’s most popular Vizada Solutions™ with both BGAN and FleetBroadband services. This includes Terralink™ Data Manager, an online data management tool that is ideal for eliminating time-consuming administrative tasks; Terralink Interconnect, which allows mobile workers to access their business and high‐speed applications (email, videoconferencing, VoIP, store & forward, live video streaming, etc) from any point on the planet; and Scratch & Web, Vizada’s prepaid cards that allow for access to data communications used by ship and remotely located crews.
In addition, Vizada is previewing upcoming capabilities for The Source, which service providers can expect to see throughout 2009. These include the ability to enrol new customers in Vizada Solutions at the point of activation, which increases revenue and builds value at the time of enrolment. Service providers will also soon be able to execute batch activations for BGAN and Thuraya terminals, something that has only been available on Iridium services to date. This is ideal for first responder applications and any customer needing fast turnaround on service activations. Vizada’s service providers will also have a broad selection of customizable reports and easy to use templates for trend analysis and fast decision making. Additional features are always being added to The Source based on service provider needs and feedback.
