[SatNews] Secure World Foundation and the GEO Secretariat are partnering this year to organize a workshop titled "Disasters Risk Reduction and Earth observations: a GEO perspective" as part of the GEO Ministerial week January 12th through 17th, 2014.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide discussion of current challenges, sharing experiences and developing plans to more effectively accessing and using Earth observation for disaster risk reduction and management.

The one-day conference will be held in Geneva, Switzerland on Monday, January 13th. 2014 at the Centre International de Conférences Genève, Room 15 (level -1).
