The Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) will be held in Hong Kong from October 28-30 (Tuesday-Thursday), at the Dome. Although it is well over a month away, if you register before September 3, you can save up to $380 U.S. The CASBAA Convention 2008 will be bigger this year, and to accommodate the numbers it will be held at the futuristic CASBAA Dome, which is a hi-tech, large scale, outdoor structure in West Kowloon. The Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia is an industry-based advocacy group dedicated to the promotion of multi-channel television via cable, satellite, broadband and wireless video networks across the Asia-Pacific. CASBAA represents over 125 Asia-based corporations, which serves more than three billion people. 

The 2008 conference program will highlight the indivisible relationship between content, platform, customers and revenue because of the rise of alternative viewing platforms. Regardless of cable, satellite, broadband, mobile or any other delivery mode, consumers ultimately pay for the images on screen.
