TANDBERG's E5720 encoder The equipment is being used at Asia’s largest commercial teleport in Hong Kong and at satellite earth stations in Sydney and Perth. Using the TANDBERG Television C&D equipment, REACH provides video contribution circuits for TV networks and Pay TV operators covering SD, HD and DVB-S2 capabilities. REACH is using TANDBERG Television E5720 MPEG-2 SD encoders, E5782 MPEG-2 HD encoders and the MX8400 multiplexer (which includes statistical and re-multiplexing capabilities). The company has also installed TANDBERG Television’s widely deployed SM6620 modulators, which support DVB-S, DVB-DSNG and DVB-S2 modulation modes, and RX1290 Integrated Receiver Decoders, which are multi-format decoders with ASI interfaces as standard.
