Communications & Power Industries (CPI), Satcom Products Group + Kuwait's Ministry of Information—Uplink Play (SatBroadcasting™—TWTA)


[SatNews] The Satcom Products group of Communications & Power Industries (CPI) has been awarded a contract to provide a quantity of more than fifteen high power satellite uplink amplifiers to support the State of Kuwait’s Ministry of Information, to be used for the distribution of television and radio content throughout the Middle East and Africa.

Under the contract, CPI will supply 750 W Ku- and DBS-band rack-mount traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs). CPI will exhibit a range of HPA products from March 11 to 13 at the Dubai World Trade Center during CABSAT 2014, including a large selection of GaN and GaAs-based solid state BUCs in addition to outdoor TWTAs.
